Caution! Helicopter wake turbulence! No doubt that s a warning you ve never heard, or at most, very seldom. Several recent accidents have demonstrated how vortices generated by helicopters can put fixed-wing aircraft at risk. This session will examine the impact that wake turbulence from different sizes of helicopters can have on fixed-wing aircraft, and pass along some tips to keep you out of harm's way.
