The Dangers Of Helicopter Wake Turbulence A topic not often considered and perhaps one we seldom or even never have heard about... Numerous accidents involving fixed wing aircraft as a result of helicopter wake turbulence have occurred. This session will explore the impact of helicopter wake turbulence on fixed wing aircraft, in both IFR and VFR conditions. The participant will gain an understanding of the dangers associated with helicopter wake turbulence and some strategies to mitigate the risks involved.
