The VAST working group co-chairs will provide a brief summary of their rotorcraft safety rating concept, the methodology, results, and recommendations for further concept validation. The briefing will be based on a draft report assessing the feasibility of a rotorcraft safety rating concept. The team will also share the challenges, pitfalls, and potential of such an ambitious project. This course is offered at the HAI Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2024. These sessions are FREE to all HELI-EXPO 2024 registered attendees and exhibitors. Attend at least six Rotor Safety Challenge sessions at HELI-EXPO 2024 and receive a certificate of recognition for completing the 2024 HAI Rotor Safety Challenge.
