This 2023 FAA legal update is designed for aircraft owners, operators, maintenance personnel, and industry professionals. We will examine legal and regulatory issues regarding preventative maintenance, required maintenance, aircraft preflight, airworthiness, return to service, and maintenance records. The presentation will include everyday practical maintenance scenarios, a review of the 31 enumerated preventive maintenance paragraphs of FAR 43, Appendix A(c), and NTSB legal cases, FAA Chief Counsel's Office Maintenance Opinions, and FAA Maintenance Advisory Circulars. Non-aircraft owners and renters are highly encouraged to participate in this event.
