This annual aviation safety seminar will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Big Bend Community College Flight Training Center building(bld# 3000). Sign-in begins at 9:15am, and the teaching program will begin at 9:30am. There will be a one-hour lunch break between 12:00pm-1:00pm, and the program ends at 4:00pm. Coffee and refreshments will be provided and you may bring a sack lunch or eat off campus during the noon lunch hour. The seminar will review three major and essential areas in safe piloting knowledge: aircraft performance, aeronautical decision making, and regulatory requirements. The seminar consist of your involvement in planning a cross country flight and applying the specific elements found within these three areas. Content being taught will be reinforced though self-evaluation questions and open discussion between the presenters and the participants
