City of Statesville Regional Airport is home to several companies operating large regional jets, two maintenance facilities, and a large general aviation community. With this mix of operations, the airspace around the airport can can get quite busy. Come out and listen to Gary Garavaglia, Designated Pilot Examiner, as he discusses the good, the bad, and the ugly of non towered airport operations. Topic of discussions will include, regulations, recommended practices and proper phraseology.
