KLAL - Lakeland Linder Rgnl
The four distinct seasons of the year bring different aviation weather-related hazards. Pilots flying predominantly in one season, or one region, may not be ready for weather encounters in other seasons and regions. This session will be led by representatives from the FAA s Weather Technology in the Cockpit program and the Aviation Weather Research Program to help pilots navigate during the four seasons. The session will review gaps in pilots understanding of weather products, provide information on weather-related seasonal accidents, and provide tips for improving preflight weather briefings. WINGS/AMT credit available! To receive WINGS/AMT credit fill out attendance sheet available at the Forum entrance.
